He was learning how to make things like sour dough breads, sour kraut’s and kimchi’s. He also made a batch of mead… a fermented wine made from honey & water. Inviting Daniel over to try the mead, he found that he was instantly in love with this drink. Daniel, having some wine making experience, decided he wanted to make a batch of his own. It turned out ok. He learned a lot and tried again. That turned out a little better. He wanted to make another attempt, and this is where we insert Kate. She wanted to try it out too.
